Runes are a valuable tool for self-exploration. Like the Tarot, the I-Ching, and other methods of divination, runes can give you insight on past, present, and future.

I picked out my first set of runes because they were pretty -- sparkly dichroic glass. But they also came with a book. Reading the book and reading for myself started me on a journey that has lasted more than fourteen years. When I'm feeling skeptical, I say I'm just a girl pulling rocks out of a bag. But the messages I've received over the years have been meaningful (whether or not I wanted to hear those messages at the time).

Lately, Aimee has been making rune sets from fused glass. You can find sets in vibrant reds, blues, greens, and more at the NewroticGirl Etsy shop. Sets are also available at Journey's and the Tea Party Bookshop in Salem, Oregon.

Three Lifetimes -- a look at your most recent past life, your present incarnation, and your next life coming. Why are you here? What lesson are you supposed to learn?

Wheel of the Year -- one rune for each month of the year. An overview of what to expect, a theme for meditation, a guideline for living. A great gift for New Year's, birthdays, or anniversaries!

An Hour of Questions -- ask as many questions as you like for a full hour. Explore different aspects of the same problem or work your way through a list of different questions.
